How We Craft Our Botanical Extracts
Carrubba uses traditional maceration to make its water-soluble extracts. This gentle and green technique may take a bit longer but does not damage the plant constituents. Oil soluble extracts are made by infusing the plant material in a solvent oil, most commonly sunflower oil.

The USDA NOP is an independently verified process-based management system that provides consumer confidence and prohibits the use of GMO’s, radiation, synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Not only is the plant grown to organic standards but the processing, production, and handling of the plant through the extraction process is also governed by the NOP.
